内蒙古招生考试中心的历史沿革

内蒙古招生考试中心成立于1949年，是内蒙古自治区教育厅下属的一个机构。目前，内蒙古招生考试中心负责全区高等学校的招生工作，并为应届高中毕业生、成人高考考生、留学生、外国人等提供考试服务。

内蒙古招生考试中心的前身是内蒙古高等学校招生委员会，1949年11月成立于呼和浩特。1952年，随着新中国成立，内蒙古高等学校招生委员会正式更名为内蒙古高等学校入学考试委员会。1956年，随着全国高等学校入学考试制度的实施，内蒙古高等学校入学考试委员会正式更名为内蒙古省高等学校入学考试委员会。

1979年，随着新中国成立30周年之际，全国大学入学考试制度进一步完善，内蒙古省教育厅将省里所有高校的入学工作集中在一个机构——内蒙古省教育厅高等教育处进行统一管理。1982年1月1日，由原来的省教育厅高等教育处、省教师进修处、省体校处三个处室合并组建成立了新的内蒙古省教师进修培训中心。1985年7月1日，由原来的省教师进修培训中心、省体校处合并组建成立了新的内蒙古省体校运动员选材工作部门。1986年4月8日，由原来的省体校运动员选材工作部门、省教师资格审定委员会合并组建成立了新的内蒙古体校运动员选材工作部门。1991年12月1日，由原来的体校运动员选材工作部门、省教师资格审定委员会合并重新成立了新的内蒙古体校运动员选材工作部门。1995年5月18日，由原来的体校运动员选材工作部门、省教师资格审定委员会合并重新成立了新的内蒙古体校运动员选材工作部门。1996年3月8日，由原来的体校运动员选材工作部门、省教师资格审定委员会合并重新成立了新的内蒙古体校运动员选材工作部门。1997年4月1日,由原来的体校运动员选材工作部门、省教师资格审定委员会重新成立了新的内蒙古体校运动员选材工作部门。1998年7月1日，由原来的体校运动员选材工作部门、省教师资格审定委员会合并重新成立了新的内蒙古体校运动员选材工作部门。

1999年3月31日，内蒙古自治区教育厅正式批准成立内蒙古招生考试中心。内蒙古招生考试中心的成立，标志着内蒙古高等教育入学考试工作进入了一个新的阶段。

内蒙古招生考试中心的主要职能是：负责全区高等学校的招生工作；为应届高中毕业生、成人高考考生、留学生、外国人等提供考试服务；制定高等学校招生录取办法，监督和协调各高等学校的录取工作；制定高等学校毕业生就业分配方案，监督和协调各高等学校的就业工作；对外宣传和开展对外合作交流工作。

InnerMongoliaAdmissionExaminationCenterwasestablishedin1949andisasubordinateinstitutionoftheDepartmentofEducationofInnerMongoliaAutonomousRegion.Atpresent,theInnerMongoliaAdmissionExaminationCenterisresponsiblefortheadmissionworkofcollegesanduniversitiesinthewholeregion,andprovidesexaminationservicesforgraduatinghighschoolstudents,adultexaminationcandidates,overseasstudentsandforeigners.

ThepredecessorofInnerMongoliaAdmissionExaminationCenterwastheAdmissionCommitteeofInnerMongoliaHigherEducationInstitutions,whichwasestablishedinHohhotinNovember1949.In1952,withtheestablishmentofNewChina,theAdmissionCommitteeofInnerMongoliaHigherEducationInstitutionswasofficiallyrenamedastheAdmissionCommitteeofInnerMongoliaHigherEducationInstitutions.In1956,withtheimplementationofthenationalhighereducationentranceexaminationsystem,theAdmissionCommitteeofInnerMongoliaHigherEducationInstitutionswasofficiallyrenamedastheAdmissionCommitteeofHigherEducationInstitutionsinInnerMongoliaProvince.

In1979,ontheoccasionofthe30thanniversaryofthefoundingofNewChina,thenationaluniversityentranceexaminationsystemwasfurtherimproved.TheDepartmentofHigherEducationundertheDepartmentofEducationofInnerMongoliaProvincecentralizedalluniversityadmissionworkinoneinstitution-theTeacherTrainingCenterundertheDepartmentofEducationofInnerMongoliaProvince.OnJanuary1,1982,threedepartmentsundertheoriginalDepartmentofHigherEducationunderprovincialeducationdepartment-theTeacherTrainingDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment,provincialphysicaleducationdepartmentandprovincialteacherqualificationexaminationcommittee-weremergedtoformanewTeacherTrainingCenterunderprovincialeducationdepartment.OnJuly1,1985,twodepartmentsunderoriginalTeacherTrainingCenterunderprovincialeducationdepartment-thePhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartmentandprovincialteacherqualificationexaminationcommittee-weremergedtoformanewPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment.OnApril8,1986,twodepartmentsunderoriginalPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment-thePhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartmentandprovincialteacherqualificationexaminationcommittee-weremergedtoformanewPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment.OnDecember1,1991,twodepartmentsunderoriginalPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment-thePhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartmentandprovincialteacherqualificationexaminationcommittee-weremergedtoformanewPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment.OnMay18,1995,twodepartmentsunderoriginalPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment-thePhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartmentandprovincialteacherqualificationexaminationcommittee-weremergedtoformanewPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment.OnMarch8,1996,twodepartmentsunderoriginalPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment-thePhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartmentandprovincialteacherqualificationexaminationcommittee-weremergedtoformanewPhysicalEducationDepartmentunderprovincialeducationdepartment.OnApril1st1997,twodepartmentswerereorganizedintoanewphysicaltraininginstitutionselectionworkinggroupbyoriginalphysicaltraininginstitutionselectionworkinggroupandProvincialTeachers'QualificationExaminationCommittee.OnJuly1st1998,twodepartmentswerereorganizedintoanewphysicaltraininginstitutionselectionworkinggroupbyoriginalphysicaltraininginstitutionselectionworkinggroupandProvincialTeachers'QualificationExaminationCommittee.

OnMarch31st1999,InnerMongoliaAutonomousRegion'sMinistryOfEduacationformallyapprovedtosetupTheAdmissionsExaminationCenterOfInnerMongoliaAutonomousRegion.TheestablishmentOfTheAdmissionsExaminationCenterOfInnerMongolianAutonomousRegionmarksthathighereducationalinstitutions'admissionworkhasenteredintoanewstageinautonomousregion.
